It's been almost 1 year since my grandpa left us. I really miss him a lot. He was amazing, righteous and a man with wisdom who played a big role model in my life. Remembering him brought back a lot of sweet memories I had with him. For instance, he always taught us not to waste food as the unfortunates are always starving, not to sleep late as it'll give me pimples and can't concentrate in classes, drink more water as our body needs at least 8 glasses of water, I should vote in the election because it's our duty as a citizen (he even taught me about politics) and many many more useful principles and values in life. During leisure, he played badminton with us (my bro and me), mastermind (a board game) and he's the person that taught me to cycle on a 2 wheels bicycle by demonstrating to me on my kiddie 'BMX'! :) He's such a sweet and loving grandpa everyone wish to have.
Though I miss him so much, but at least I'm assured by God that he's already safe in His hands.(through the answering of my prayers via my brother's dream with my grandpa and daddy in it because I told God that if my grandpa is safe in His hands, has gone to heaven and already met up with my dad, give me a dream with the 2 of them together and amazingly, God gave that dream to my brother which he shared with us) Thank God that He's given us (Vincent & myself) time to reach out to my kung kung before his departure, though my kung kung was quite reluctant initially but finally he was receptive and accepted the fact that Jesus is our saviour. I'll always remember kung kung's final moment in the hospital, wishing us goodbye with his eyes on us as he waited as long as he can for us to arrive in time to bid farewell. Friends, never ever give up on the salvation of your family members and friends as time and moments will be given by God for you to reach out to them. Always seize the 'moments' given to you and continue to pray for them. I love you kung kung...... Will always miss you till I see you again in Heaven...
